The Southwell students are lucky to be able to make requests through the Book-a-Book book, and we try and buy what we can, when we can.
Here is just a small selection of what will be on offer next week...
PICTURE BOOKS:
SOPHISTICATED PICTURE BOOKS:
FUN READS (red dots):
POPULAR PAPERBACKS (yellow dots):
GENERAL FICTION:
as well as some republished Enid Blyton favourites... Malory Towers and The O'Sullivan Twins.
Malory Towers were one of my favourite series as a child, so I am very excited to see them coming to the library!
SENIOR FICTION:
My picks would have to be:
Zen Shorts
A beautiful, peaceful book of short meditations to puzzle over and think about.
Addie Accident
Don't judge a book by its cover...! This cover is a mystery as I don't actually remember a butterfly, or a reference to a butterfly, in this story!
I believe this story would appeal to boys and girls... all about an accident prone young lady, who doesn't believe in herself, until she meets an imaginary friend called Hubert, who seems even more accident prone than her!
